The concept of surrender is well presented by Judith Orloff. For men, surrender isn't something that comes easy. Even in crisis - to surrender is nigh impossible. It's like waving the "white flag" and I've been beaten. To accept surrender is to accept our vulnerability. In accepting vulnerability as part of humaness - is like a doorway to surrender. In surrender there is an empowerment, a letting go, an acceptance - and this acceptance is a freedom. It is so much easier to surrender rather than fighting and holding on - it brings an inner peace allows for a deeper connectedness to ourselves and our partners.
